Members achieve personal growth by developing positive relationships with like-minded individuals and other members of our community. Through team work and volunteering, Gender Mosaic empowers members and the community at large through education and outreach activities.

PFLAG Stittsville Support Meetings

Almost everyone who attends PFLAG Canada has been directly affected by issues pertaining to sexual orientation or gender identity (individuals, parents, family members and close friends), but we also have allies who attend because they care deeply about social justice and equality for members of the rainbow community.

Youth Drop-in - Held at the same time chapter's monthly support meetings. Youth are unsupervised but meet in an adjacent room to the support meetings.

Meetings are held the last Tuesday of every month, 7:00 to 8:30 pm., St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, at 2 Mulkins Street (corner of Main St)

A unique space for youth aged 14-18 where they can talk one on one with a Youth Worker about their needs, access a variety of resources and be referred to other services that can meet their needs.

Support and counselling for GLBTTQ youth ages 12—25 and their families. Focus on exploring sexual orientation, gender identity and building resilience.

Counsellors work to raise the capacity of mental health service agencies and educators to provide inclusive care related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Workshops available upon request.

GLBTQ Services - This group is for those self-identifying as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or for those who may be struggling with their sexual orientation, identity. This can be an opportunity to discuss issues such as coming out, homophobia / Transphobia and relationships. In addition, this can be a forum to discuss more general issues, such as depression, anxiety, or self-esteem, within a safe and supportive environment.
